Bridges
Holding us together
Pushing us apart

Build
Destroy
Cross them

Defend
Climb
Jump from them

In the clouds
Touching water

Journeys end
Or just the start

There was a time before
Before bridges

Inspired by the NaPoWriMo Challenge for April 2015 – Day 28 “Today, I’d like to challenge you to write a poem about bridges. A bridge is a powerful metaphor, and when you start looking for bridges in poems, you find them everywhere.”
